About
As a Fellow of Pain Science and PT, I intend to create a ripple of knowledge to release pain's grip.
Pain is NOT a Life Sentence
Are you done with pain? This keynote explores the integration of Pain Science and Positive Intelligence (PQ) as a novel approach to treating pain. With chronic pain affecting nearly 1 in 4 of us, the time is now. We will explore the four pillars of Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE). Understanding pain reduces its intensity—supported by fMRI evidence. Movement is key for easing pain too. Positive Intelligence (PQ) will be highlighted for its role in harnessing your brain to be your ally. PQ improves focus, productivity, and empathy-shifting experiences from pain to gain. We'll dispel myths with engaging narratives and PNE stories. Integrating PQ and PNE, attendees will gain evidence-based strategies to reduce symptoms, improve health, and accelerate recovery from pain. By integrating science and art, function improves as symptoms ease. With interactive elements, humor, and experiential learning, this session promises tools you can implement today! Pain is normal-living in pain is not.
Your Brain-Foe to Friend
Positive Intelligence (PQ) offers us the gift of commanding our own mind. Our brain is complex and designed to protect us- and sometimes it does it too well! Also known as Mental Fitness-it is a transformative approach where we can harness our brain to be our friend more than our foe. PQ integrates principles from positive psychology, performance science, neuroscience, and cognitive behavioral therapy, capitalizing on neuroplasticity—the ability to truly change our brain. PQ enhances focus, productivity, and empathy. These qualities are vital in shifting how we show up day to day as well as an opportunity for growth. Participants will learn and experience the ease of integrating PQ daily. Leveraging these skills will guide a transition from suffering to thriving during personal and professional challenges The end result is a shift from being dominated by negative emotion to a place of ease and flow.
